The Center would like to alert you to the ‘Advancing the Science of Community-Engaged Research Conference’ coming up September 14-15, 2017 at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) in Washington, DC.
This Conference is hosted by Meharry Medical College and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Eliseo J. Pérez-Stable, MD, Director of the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities at the National Institutes of Health is a featured speaker on Thursday, September 14, from 1-2:00pm.
This CEnR conference will convene researchers and community stakeholders in order to advance knowledge of the innovative methods and promising practices being used in the rapidly developing field of community engaged research. Learning labs will provide “how to” opportunities for small group learning on specific issues and practices and think tanks will advance discussion and problems solving for issues that can impede or accelerate community engaged research.
